SIXT - Barcelona Centro (Eixample)

Pickup and return worked well, service was fine. The reason for 1 star is that I had no damages on my car, yet 1 month after Sixt still withholds my 300 EUR damage deposit/authorisation. I called them and asked them to release it, but they refused, saying I just have to wait for them to return it. That doesn't make sense to me, the authorization is for damages, so it should be released right away when no damage is found. This weekend I had another car reservation with Alamo, Plaza Catalunya, and they have already released the authorization 1 day after I returned it. Way faster than sixt. So I'm using them again next time.

Had an excellent experience during our group trip to Barcelona. Kawtar was super friendly and very helpful. I arrived a little earlier than anticipated so I had to wait for a few minutes before my official pick up time which was not an issue. The car I booked wasn’t ready in time so I got a sweet upgrade at no extra cost. I greatly appreciate how apologetic they were about the delay and the offer of an upgrade without me asking. I would highly recommend this location based on the customer service alone. Location was perfect as it was a 5min walk from where we were staying. Bonus: Kawtar was from the city we were headed to and shared some awesome tips on delicious restaurants and cool spots to checkout. We hit up all the recommendations and they did not disappoint! So grateful for her support!!

Have had a fantastic experience with this team doing the Sixt+ longer subscription. They truly do everything to make the customer happy, and that is majorly appreciated. Will keep using and recommending this service for sure!

Easy pick up at the station and was clearly instructed about their parking lot (Central Parking Barcelona) which is a block away. Got an upgrade from reserved M-Benz C class to Audi Q5 for being a platinum member. Even though we waited 20 minutes in the garage for the car shipped from another station, the lady in the garage was nice enough to help me file a complaint and Sixt gave me a $20 discount from the invoice not just saying. The Audi Q5 was nice and return was easy. Just be mindful of the entrance on the other side (C. de Valencia, 70) if you return after operation hours.

Wie haben hier unser vorher reserviertes Auto übernommen um weiter Richtung Süden zu fahren. Das Auto (Audi a1) war relativ neu und in sehr gutem Zustand. Das Parkhaus ist älter und etwas verwinkelt, aber problemlos zu befahren. Die Mitarbeiter von Sixt waren freundlich und zuvorkommend. Insgesamt alles gut. Wir haben nichts zu bemängeln.

Mis última experiencia con Sixt fue pésima: Me hicieron reservar y pagar un coche de categoría superior porque no quedaban disponibles en la mía. Pero esta vez, Nil ha cambiado mi opinión. Ha sido tremendamente amable y colaborativo. Al final, es todo cuestión de personas...
