Jon G. is worth his weight in gold! He has been our buyer's agent extraordinaire. When we first met, he showed us around the neighborhoods to appreciate all that is here and to consider where exactly we wanted to buy. We then signed a contract to be shown properties, always adjusting to our likes and dislikes, and he really knows what features to look for or to avoid. But then his superior value was in negotiating down the seller's price, the agreement of sale, managing the notary, working with our bank, paying taxes and fees, registering the deed, and still today - months later - he continues to help us with every aspect of owning our new property in Bilbao to make sure that it is a complete success. Coming from the U.S. we knew nothing about how things are done here, so you really need to trust completely someone who will properly guide you through everything that must be done. Jon and his team helped us narrow down our search, scheduled in-person visits to different apartments and handled all the paperwork needed for the purchase. Thanks to their expertise and knowledge, they gave us a lot of great and useful feedback on the different options, helped us understand what to look for and pick the right place. Once we did find the right place with their help, they negotiated the transaction, handled all the paperwork, and basically just told us where to sign, all while we were enjoying pintxos in town.
