We were directed to Rimontgó by a friend who had recently used them to buy a property in Valencia. That is where we met our realtor Vicente Monterde. If we could give a 10-star review for Vicente we would. Vicente was our guiding light through the process of identifying and purchasing a flat in Valencia. He was very accessible and responded quickly. Vicente understood what we were looking for aesthetically in a second home so we were able to put our complete faith and trust in his judgment and guidance. Being in the United States we were able to identify properties online that we liked and send to Vicente. Because of his in depth knowledge of the real estate market in Valencia he directed us to neighborhoods and flats that would be a good investment. Vicente's moral compass is sincere and honest and with that he protected us from unsavory realtors and real estate companies. Vicente worked with our son, who is local in Valencia, to visit properties and FaceTime with us for showings. We decided to obtain a mortgage for the purchase and Vicente coordinated the relationship with the mortgage officer at the bank, who also was phenomenal. There are many moving parts to purchasing a property in Spain as a non-citizen. Vicente not only coordinated with the bank but also helped getting us our NIE's, coordinating the Notary necessary for the closing, setting up utilities and answering any follow-up questions we have. He held our hands every step of the way. Vicente's relationships with people throughout the real estate industry made this a very smooth, unstressful process.
